Have You Passed Yet ?

“TEST ME, O Lord…Examine my heart and my mind.” Psalm 26:2

Tests are Designed to Reveal and Validate What You’ve Learned. Therefore, Until You’ve Been Tested, You Really Don’t Know What You Know—and More Importantly, WHAT YOU DON’T! Tests are Opportunities to Prove Your Growth, Maturity and Potential!

So remember the following in times of TESTING:

1. YOU’LL EXPERIENCE TESTS AT EACH STAGE OF YOUR GROWTH: Just like children in school, they don’t get to take an ELEMENTARY EXAM, pass, go to JUNIOR HIGH and say, “I took a test in 6th grade, I don’t need to take this one!” NO! AT EACH STAGE A TEST, THAT FITS THAT STAGE AND PREPARES YOU FOR THE NEXT, HAS TO BE TAKE AND PASSED, IF YOU’RE GOING TO BE PROMOTED AND ELEVATED…DESERVINGLY! In a Nutshell: You Can’t Prepare For College, Based Off a 6th Grade Exam, Even If You Passed it at the Top of Your Class! It Still Doesn’t Count! Likewise the Test You Passed as a Minister Doesn’t Qualify You for Eldership. Nor does the Test You Pa…

Stay Sharp !

1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.” (AMP)

I by no means have a green thumb, I never have and never will! I’ve managed to keep a few plants alive…briefly…however, My Late Dad Prince Ikwan Ejim Akuma was born with two green thumbs. He had one of the most beautiful fruit and vegetable gardens I think I’ve ever seen in my life. And more than once he loves to take me on a tour of his garden. And I must say this city boy learns a lot in that garden. One of the last times, I think, we toured his gardens he showed me a garden spider at work. Actually, it wasn’t at work, it was really at dinner! It was just finishing “filet of grasshopper”; which just so happened to be the latest insect to be caught in his web.

Now, while I was watching, another grasshopper flew into the bottom of that web a few inches below the spider. And …

Money & The Belief

Psalm 24:1, declares: “The earth and everything it contains are the Lord’s. The world and all who live in it are HIS” GWT.

Good Financial Planning is imperative for a steward.

And to be a truly Effective Steward, you must believe Unequivocally that the Money being Managed is Someone Else’s Money – GOD’S!

Every resource, even money, is His, and you are simply stewards of His resources!

Having this perspective gives a person the freedom to use finances as a tool to accomplish God’s purposes, recognizing that no one comes into this world with any possessions, and certainly no one will leave with anything either (Ecclesiastes 5:15, “They came from their mother’s womb naked. They will leave as naked as they came. They won’t even be able to take a handful of their earnings with them from all their hard work” GWT).

So be careful about trying to make yourself rich! Be careful about trying to increase your bank accounts for the sole purpose of saying “I have…” You cannot under any circumstances tak…
