JAY IKWAN

Joseph Ikwan Ejim p.k.a Jay Ikwan is a recording & performing artist, songwriter, worship leader & non-denominational minister. He is best known for his eclectic styles of music and his Christian ministry. Straddling the line effortlessly between Pop Music, Alternative R&B, Hip-hop, Christian contemporary music, Gospel & Spiritual Songs, Jay Ikwan is an anomaly.

​Jay's interest in music began as a teenager. After he was sent to live with his uncle at Eagle Island in Port Harcourt, he discovered his songwriting skill. He is a self-taught drummer, pianist and guitarist.

Jay is a licensed and ordained christian minister with over 20 yrs of ministerial experience. He is the founder of The Refiner's House International and currently serves as one of it's apostolic oversights. whilst also leading worship at his local church King's Community Church too.

He has served as a lead minister and apostolic overseer for churches and church leaders in Africa, the United States of America, South East Asia and the United Kingdom. Jay's honest and raw approach to unconventional truths have kept him on the tongues of many as either a breath of fresh air or a subject of controversy over the years.

He is fueled by a passion for excellence, character building, blissful relationships and spiritual wholeness. He merges spirituality with the practicality of everyday life. His candid and revealing approach engage followers worldwide provoking them to pursue a lifestyle of love, integrity, success and happiness.

Apart from ministry,  He has been actively involved in Information technology focusing on Human Computer Interaction. He is the Founder of Brits Digital Limited, a UX Consultancy agency operating from Southampton, Hampshire. 

As a musician, Jay has recorded over 70 songs and 51 released records as Jay Ikwan. 

Unashamed to use his life as a teaching mechanism, His in-your-face messages have drawn people to his events over the last years and caused a tangible transformation in their lives.

He is married with 5 children.
